anasava

I’d long dreamed of having my own lotus pond. In real life, especially in our climate, that’s almost impossible.

So I built a Mac app: a pond where each lotus represents one of your attachments. I called it Anasava, from a Pali word meaning “free from defilements”, the things that keep us from seeing clearly what’s happening.

The idea is simple: notice and mark your attachments, without feeling you have to fight them. Observe yourself and watch that attention turn into a growing flower.

The app is now in early beta. I’d love for you to try it and share your impressions.
